Chicago!

Wow, has this past month been crazy!  We went to Lake Tahoe, Jaxon started Pre-k, then to an out of town wedding where Jaxon was a ring bearer, AND then Chicago.

Micah has a conference for work and OF COURSE I had to tag along.  Poor guy had to work all day while I was having a blast on the town.  However, we did stay over the weekend and he had 2 days to take in Chicago so we crammed it all in.

We ate the best food.  I am big on finding the most unique and fun restaurants where ever we go.  And boy did I do a great job (if I do say so).  This was at the Purple Pig.  And that, my friends, is a turkey leg!  Delicious.

We also went to some Jazz clubs.  They have some great music in that town.  At this particular place, the band had a saxophone player that was 17!  And he was AMAZING!

And in addition to the awesome restaurants we ate at, we had to try the chicago dog and deep dish pizza.  Both were pretty tasty.

This is us on the double decker tour.

We rented bikes and rode all along the cities shore.  I think this was the best part of the trip.

Later, we took and Architectural cruise.  It was amazing.  The architecture in Chicago is beautiful, especially by boat.

I absolutely love Chicago.  By far my favorite city to go to in the summer.  I hope we return with the kids some day soon.

Lake Tahoe

We were blessed to meet up with some of our college friends in Lake Tahoe.  We had such a great time.  The guys played at 3 different golf courses and the girls got some much needed spa time.  We also hiked to a beautiful smaller lake

Wedding Fun

That's my blue eyed boy.... is he handsome or what.  Sometimes he takes my breath away.

Jaxon was a ring bearer for some friends of ours wedding and he did an amazing job. I was so proud of him.

Since Adalyn couldnt stay quiet during the wedding ceremony, we decided to do a photo shoot.  The facility had the coolest "LOVE" sign and we had fun getting pics of our beautiful girl.

I just love those curly golden locks.

We did A LOT of driving over the weekend and the kids did so great.

Jaxon and his flower girl

It's showtime!

This girl loves her daddy.

And I couldnt resist putting a few more pictures of my little man.
He loves his cowboy boots.

I got this mom.

Love these two.

Silly boy
