April Birthdays

This month we had two birthday kids, a 6 year old girl & 4 year old boy.  We had a "Bieber Fever" theme for the girl and a "eat cake" monster theme for the boy.  We also rented a jumper, which of course, all of the kids loved!

As always, all of the kids are beyond precious. It is such a blessing to serve them.  Thanks so much to my mom and dad, Lisa & Sharla for the much needed help! And thanks to Reagan & Sharla for purchasing the gifts!

Easter 2012

We had such a great time at the ranch for Easter.  Not only did we see amazing bluebonnets, we had a lot of fun too!  Here are a few fun pics from the weekend....

Bluebonnets

We went to my parents ranch for Easter this year and what a sight it was.  I was blown away by the gazillion blue bonnets that were EVERYWHERE!  In some places they were knee deep.  What a joy it was to walk thru them.  I truly feel like I got a glimpse into heaven that day.

First Easter Egg Hunt!

Adalyn had her first ever Easter Egg Hunt at the church during "Mother's Day Out."  It was so much fun to watch.  She was really ok with just having one or two eggs and was more interested in eating what was inside of them!!

We also made some rice krispie treat egg nests for Jaxon & Adalyn's class thanks to pinterest.
  They were yummy!

ZOO!!

On a warm March day, we decided to get away and head to the Abilene Zoo!  Micah and I decided we might as well spend the night there and make a mini-vacation out of it.  Because both of us went to college there, we always love going back....

(miss priss in her bikini)

We stayed at a hotel that had an indoor pool and the kids had a blast swimming for the first time this year.

The next morning, we headed to the zoo!

Adalyn loved seeing all of the animals!

Micah's such a good daddy.  I just had to get a shot of him with the double stroller & back pack!

And we finally got a picture with Jaxon in it.  He was so busy running around, it was hard to catch him. But we had our chance on the train.

Sweetest kids ever.

We had the best time in Abilene.  Nothing beats taking  your kids back to your college town.  We ate at Sharon Allen's and it was such a treat.  We also went to the Frontier Days museum which was interesting.   We only wish it had been a week day so that we could have taken the kids to ACU chapel.  We will do that someday!
