Blessings

During our last big party, the 14 year old birthday girl came up to me and said that this party made up for all of the parties her mother never gave her. All I could do was hug her neck and hold back the tears. She hadn't even opened her presents or had cake yet.

I am in awe by how God continues to provide for this ministry.
Last week, by surprise, I received two huge boxes in the mail. When I opened them, they were full of birthday decorations from Target. As I was digging thru all of the fun stuff, I realized that my eyes were filling with tears. What a blessing.

The people that have volunteered to help with these parties are truly angels. I am so so thankful for each of them. They open their hearts and truly pour all of themselves into the kids.

I am also taken back by how awesome our "gift purchasers" have been. All of them have provided more than what was asked and sometimes even at the last minute. It is truly amazing how God uses all of these people.

God not only provides for these parties but he shows himself even in the details. He always provides the right people & sufficient supplies at exactly the right time. Not only does he provide for these children, he fills my heart each time. I truly love love love these parties. I get so excited to see Gods work and can hardly go a day without thinking about the next one. Thank you Lord for bringing this opportunity and these children into my life.

Ice Cream Sundae Birthday!

This past weekend, a good friend and I threw our second party of the month. At the last birthday party (1 week prior) I fell in love with the most adorable girl. Her and her sister had just arrived at the home that day. Later, one of the staff members informed me that her fourth birthday was coming up on Monday. This broke my heart. There was only one thing to do.. plan another party for the following weekend.

We found out that she loved strawberry ice cream so we had a "Sundae Party." It was so much fun AND delicious!

We also provided these nifty aprons. Not only were they great for keeping the kiddos clothes clean, it was so nice to know all of their names.

Another amazing friend bought so many sweet gifts for this precious girl.

March Family Fun

With all of the nice weather, we have been outside a lot. And with Adalyn walking/running everywhere its been a lot of fun I just love that belly hanging out of her shirt.
